"My husband and I were
very impressed when we first met you. Although we knew
generally what our needs were, you helped us focus those needs
and develop a job description for our future employee. In addition,
you advised us of the appropriate salary and benefits to offer,
and advised us of the other terms of employment..."

Frequently
asked Questions about Household Staffing
What
is the Agency fee?
There
is a non-refundable Consultation/Search fee of $250.
This fee covers long-term placement and the use of our
"Temporary/Short Term Services".
Our professional fee is 15% of Household Staff's gross
annual salary or $3000, whichever is greater. Our fee
is due when an offer of employment has been accepted
and an agreed-upon start date has been confirmed by
the employer and employee.
The fee for our service is due if a candidate is hired,
directly or indirectly, by an employer who has listed
their job opening with our Agency.
Employers who introduce our candidates to another employer
will be responsible for payment of the placement fee.
Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing conducts in-depth
interviews of clients to identify specific requirements
in order to create a suitable match between employer
and employee. In the event that employment is terminated
by either party during the first six months of employment,
we will replace the employee. Our Referral Agreement
provides a detailed outline of all terms and fees mentioned.
How
does Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing screen
candidates?
The candidates
you meet will have completed a detailed application
as well as essay questions. They have a thorough interview
with our Placement Counselors and we speak to each reference
at length. We do criminal, social security and driving
checks in every county in which they have lived.
How
do I know which candidates are right for my needs?
It is
our placement counselor’s job to make sure you
see the candidates who are right for your position.
Our clients usually see between one and three before
making a decision. We also suggest that you have a two
or three day paid working interview before making your
final offer to the candidate. Upon making the offer
you will sit down with them and go over the contract
furnished to you by Annie’s Nannies Household
Staffing and at that time agree on salary, hours, etc.
How
does Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing find qualified
candidates?
We have
been successfully placing nannies in homes throughout
the Puget Sound area since 1984. We work with people
who have completed long-term assignments, returning
to us for further placement as well as candidates who
are new to us but not new to the household staffing
industry. We also partner with other leading agencies
to conduct nationwide searches for qualified candidates.
What
experience do Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing
candidates need in order to be placed?
The candidates
represented by our agency must have long-term professional
experience and references in their related field. Our
candidate pool consists of a wide variety of age, education,
and experience. This allows us to offer you a wide range
of profiles to match your needs.
How
do you select the candidates?
Finding
the right person for our clients is our job. Although
Annie’s Nannies Household Staffing is dedicated
to identifying candidates who have the experience our
client has described, we also understand that personality
and chemistry are a large part of the matching process.
