The Placement Process
No. 1 – Fill Out Our Application
We want to know more about you! Share your unique experiences, training/certifications, and how you’ve developed a passion for childcare and family support. We are interested in learning about your exceptional skills in order for us to best match you with a family.
No. 2 – Create Your Resume
Your professional resume showcases your history, qualifications, and experience in a way that is uniquely ‘you’. It is part of the ANI Portfolio passed on directly to our clients (your potential employer) to help land you an interview.
No. 3 – Interview
You will meet with us one-on-one either in person! Our interview is your chance to meet us and share your experiences in childcare and learn how we can support finding your dream job.
No. 4 – Build Your Portfolio
Together, we will build your professional nanny portfolio that includes a polished Cover Letter, your Professional Resume and our Applicant Q’s. This portfolio will be created to showcase your experiences and skill set. We can work together to revise your resume and present your best professional self!
No.5 – References & Background Check
After your application and interview assessment, to move forward we will begin contacting your references. We will also conduct a thorough background check on you which includes Criminal History, Driving Record, National Sexual Offender Registry and more.
|A minimum of 2 years prior childcare or relevant experience|
|All work references checked, including a minimum of three childcare references, and all employers from the past five years|
|Comprehensive childcare reference evaluation by our Recruitment and Placement Teams|
|Seven-year state-by-state Criminal and Driving record checks through an investigative agency (Run annually for On-Call Nannies)|
|Social Security verification|
|Sex Offender registry check|
|Extensive written application|
|Online presence evaluation|
|Personal interview with our Recruitment Team|
|Verification of current Infant & Child CPR/First Aid training|
|Verification of driver’s license and car insurance (if applicable)|
